40+ Years. Every Role.
One Focus: Results.

No hype. No hand-waving.
Just the experience to know what works and the discipline to execute it.

Four decades across operations, engineering, and sales leadership means I don't just understand security - I understand the business of security. I've carried the bag, built the teams, and closed the deals. When I engage, I bring hard won knowledge that shortens cycles, sharpens strategy, and drives measurable growth.

A POINT OF VIEW

From every seat at the table.

Forty years across the security industry. Frontline operations. Branch leadership. Multi-state P&L. Boardroom service. The view from every chair at the table.

Most companies do not have a security problem. They have a discipline problem. Programs are built and then are not re-evaluated and reinforced on a regular basis. Procedures that exist on paper must not only be put into practice, but reviewed and trained on regularly. Good people work around bad systems, but they want good programs and procedures.

Security is a system. Sound technology. Disciplined protocols. Solutions tailored to each customer. Each step is important and there for a reason. Each piece is integral.

The job is complete when modern tools meet teams that know what to do at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday.

Real risk does not show up in the threat assessment. It shows up in the gap between policy, the field and the front office, the contractor and the customer.

Where execution slips, exposure follows.

That is where risk actually lives.

METHOD

How I Operate.

arrow_forward Clear operational structure.
arrow_forward Consistent execution across teams.
arrow_forward Plain communication. Inside the company. With the customer.
arrow_forward Modern technology. Disciplined protocols. Tailored to each customer.
arrow_forward Decisions grounded in real-world conditions, not theory.

When something does not work, I say so. That is not contrarianism. It is responsibility.

The best decisions in this industry are made by the people willing to look past consensus and ask whether the standard practice is still the right one.

A FEW CORE BELIEFS

R2A2. Recognize, relate, assimilate, and apply from all relevant experiences and changes to the industry.

If you are not moving forward, you are falling behind.

My knowledge allows me to debate both sides of most discussions.

There is never an excuse for no or poor communication.

A real expert continues to learn it all, after they have learned it all.

Seven days of no prospecting makes one weak.

When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

I'd rather turn you down than let you down.

I can tell you anything you want to hear. However, I'd rather tell you the truth. Sorry.

I approach security as a responsibility.

CONVENINGS

The biggest gap in executive security isn’t technology.

Why physical security, cybersecurity, and executive protection teams must share a unified threat intelligence picture to protect today’s executives from converged cyber-physical threats.

Illustration of disconnected executive protection, cyber, and physical security teams during a converged threat
PERSPECTIVE

Most businesses are not lacking effort.
They are lacking discipline.

01 · THE PROBLEM

The market is loud. Promises outpace delivery. Decision-makers are surrounded by capable tools, sharp dashboards, and competing pitches — and left to integrate it all themselves.

Underneath the noise, the same gaps keep showing up. Sound technology deployed without the protocols around it. Strong teams asked to execute without the playbooks they need. Relationships that erode because nobody is paying attention.

There is no shortage of options. There is a shortage of clarity.

02 · WHAT ACTUALLY WORKS
Discipline. Show up the same way every time. Build the system once, then maintain it like it is the only thing that matters — because it is.
Clarity. Plain language with clients, plain language with teams, plain language with leadership. Confusion is a leading indicator of failure.
Consistency. The program that works on a Tuesday in May has to work on a Sunday in December. Anything less is not a program.
Trust. Earned by saying what you will do, then doing it. Lost by saying what people want to hear.
Execution. Strategy is the easy part. Doing the work — every shift, every account, every quarter — is what separates the firms that grow from the firms that talk about growing.
03 · FROM THE FIELD

Forty years in the field changes how you see this. I have worked through every economic cycle, every technology shift, every industry consolidation since the early 1980s. The threats change. The fundamentals do not.

Healthcare campuses. Special events. Corporate accounts. Multi-state branch operations. Different rooms, same lessons. The organizations that hold up are the ones that stay close to the customer and refuse to take the basics for granted.

04 · ON STANDING OUT

There is a time to stand out and a time to stay in line. The art is knowing which is which.

Bill Veeck understood this. So did the operators I have respected most across this industry. They did not chase attention. They moved deliberately. When they did something different, it was because the situation required it, not because the news cycle did.

05 · IN CLOSING

I do not chase attention.
I build systems and relationships that hold up over time.
